Praise the Lord! It’s on the way!

Monday, May22, 2006 - the container finally pulled out of the Wayside
chapel driveway headed for Nigeria, Africa. All the contents of this
container are gifts from Wayside Chapel, local businesses and
individuals. Four groups of recipients are earnestly praying and
anxiously awaiting the arrival of this container:

  • The ECWA Information and Computer Science Institute – Director Tunde
    Jacob
  • Dr.Ogedi Omenyinma, professor of Theology at the Evangelical
    Theological College of Africa in Aba.
  • Habiba Garba whose ministry is to orphans and people fleeing
    religious persecution.
  • The Hospital in Jos.

 An inventory overview includes: 472 computer systems, printers,
typewriters, photocopiers, building supplies, 15KW Diesel generator, 73
student desks, water filter system, assorted medical supplies, eye exam
machine and a Volvo engine and transmission.

Please pray for the safe arrival of this container which is estimated to
arrive on July 7, 2006. Pray also for the finances needed for
transportation. The overseas costs are $5307 and $1000 for fuel and fees
to get it to the port.
